Everything went fine. No travel glitches. It’s wunderbar to see all my friends again. My room is the most amazing thing ever; excellent view of the Common and Statehouse. Unpacking was a beast, and I forgot several very important things.
And now my head hurts from all the excitement/bad sleep/lack of caffeine. So I’m going to putter around a bit and then hit the hay in my new bed. Not going to lie, though; as amazing as this room is, sleeping in this bed isn’t going to be anything like sleeping on the couch at home. I need my pictures to get here so I can decorate this place and make it a little more mine.
Experiment One: Rumor has it that putting vaseline on callouses makes them go away overnight. We shall see . . .
Oh, and here are some pictures of my room. it’s dark, so I can’t photograph my amazing view yet. And hopefully, all those chords will go away when I get an extension chord. And those walls won’t be blank. And I’d like to get a blanket to put on my window seat, too. And when I take pictures, I’ll make sure all three shades are up so you can see the awesomeness of my windowseat AND the view.
