I haven’t been writing. Partly because, due to no longer ingesting a certain pill, I have been happy, productive, and determined to lose all the weight I gained. So far I’ve lost about five. But really, the being happy and having energy is the best part.
Things I meant to blog about this week. There were many, but I’ve been so busy (writing papers at the last minute, specifically last night with Diana and Heather) that I just haven’t had time.
Both the girls that I thought really disliked me at work have had changes of heart, which is great. One even asked me specifically if I could go to her St. Patrick’s Day party (I can’t
. Also, Monday night I was closing with this rad girl Amanda and she pointed out we had never worked a full shift together. Then she said, “I heard you’re fast at closing.” Well that means that my darling co-workers are at least saying some nice things about me behind my back! Needless to say, I was motivated, and we got out of there in thirty minutes (it usually takes at least 45).
Tuesday we got our British Literature midterms back. It was about the hardest test I’ve ever taken; it probably actually harder than the AP tests. I thought I did “okay,” but I wound up getting an A- which is awesome! 6th highest grade in the class, which rocks for someone who only even kinda sorta studied the night before. Also, there were like 40 extra credit questions and a bunch of them were about the class or classmates. One was “Who is the coolest kid in the class?” and my teacher (who I’m growing much more fond of!) wrote on my test that some dude in the class said it was me! Haha, I don’t even know anyone in the class except Bridget. Flattering!
My photography project went over real well on Wednesday. I was quite proud of my pictures, and people weren’t as crazy about them as I had expected, but they liked a few, and I got some good prints.
I’m sure there’s more, but I go home for spring break tomorrow, which means I have to pack TONIGHT, so I’d better go get started,s eeing as it’s already 10:30pm. I’m actually really dreading packing, though flying won’t be bad, and I’m so excited to be home!
